He refuses to speak with her and stalks away. When they meet again, tempers and attraction flare. Their argument hits social media and everyone watches. What a rough start to romance! Ellie and Chris are memorable characters. They are as different as night and day. Both have endured pain/trauma which still drives them today. I loved seeing them learn to care and need each other. The story highlighted that we all have issues and that it helps to have someone to support us. Ellie's grandparents give her warmth and stability but Chris was alone. He needs Ellie. Victoria Purman did a wonderful job. The peacefulness of the Australian outback as well as bustle of Sydney were the perfect backdrop for this emotional story. The Millionaire was a short well-plotted story that I couldn't put down.Product details

The romantic tension and passionate between the principals is very engaging. Australia is one of my favorite places and it served as a uniting theme for all three of the Malone brothers adventures . I bought all the books in the series after reading this one
Ellie and Chris were wonderful characters. I loved how Ellie got all "fan-girl" over Chris because of how much she admired his work in photography, but yet she held her own as well. Chris's character was very deep and I really enjoyed that he chose to give up his posh life to rough it in order to pursue his dreams.
The two characters worked very well together. I really enjoyed this story!
When Ellie Flannery meets Chris Malone on the beach she can't believe her good luck. She is helping on a charity fundraiser for the RFD service and wants him to donate one of his autographed photographs. He however is just home for some R & R and isn't interested, not knowing the charity it's supporting. Some bad press later and he goes looking for her to straighten it out. Along the way they find out they have a strong attraction to each other and it's clear they are heading for love. A lovely story that I enjoyed very much. I'll be looking for more books by this author.
Photographer Chris Malone, has returned home for some downtime and relax, when journalist, Ellie Flannery has recognized him while surfing on a deserted beach, she has gone fan girl on him. She has decided to ask him to donate to the charity for Royal Flying Doctors Service, he has declined to help. He did change is mind though. Chris turns out to have a very big heart and helps Ellie with her inner scars. Ellie is afraid to give to much because she knows Chris is only home for a short time.
This is a wonderful story of love and such a giving heart of Chris. This is a new author for me, I will be looking for more books from her. This book is number four of the Hot Aussie Heroes, I have throughly enjoyed all of them. Perfect to warm you up during these cold days.
This was a really cute story. I actually read the second book in this series first by accident but they can stand on their own just fine. I really like this series! These are the first Victoria Purman books I have read and I will certainly be seeking out some more. Her books are chalk full of wit, humor and passion. I fell in love with Chris from the very first page in this book and absolutely loved this couple together. I wish this author made her sex scenes a bit more detailed which is the only reason I did not give it 5 stars. The foreplay is always really detailed and then the main event is always just kind of a few sentences. Overall a fun and sexy story!

Ellie bravely approaches him for a donation from him of one of his pictures but he flatly says, "No." Her friend, Bron, takes a picture of his expression saying no and posts it online with an unfavorable comment. Chris, who has been avoiding seeing his austere and rich family, is thrown into center stage by the post and the story follows Chris and Ellie as he makes amends and finds love.
